In order to make mining cryptos as easy has it can get, Quantumcloud and ASUS have recently formed a partnership. The partnership is aimed at allowing gamers to mine crypto with their idle GPU Power. Meaning they would be able to mine cryptocurrency on their systems without having to dedicate the entire system to crypto mining or affect the performance of their system.
ASUS : a New Product Line will not be Launched
It is important to note that this innovation is not geared towards the launch of a new product line. Through the collaboration between the two parties, existing products is expected to have more appeal than before.
Unlike AMD that has announced interest in diversifying its products line and has commenced the production and distribution of equipment specifically for crypto mining, ASUS has not expressed any interest in shifting towards cryptocurrency mining, at least for now.
AMD has gone as far as forming a partnership with seven major technology companies in order to manufacture different lines of mining rigs with features that are different.
Another traditional chip making company toeing the same line as AMD is Nvidia. Nvidia has also been hit as a result of the current intense bear market. The company has reportedly lost 20% of its value since the bear market began.
No Full Details Yet
Importantly, neither ASUS nor Quantumcloud have given a full account of the products which will be compatible with this new innovation. However, it is clear that through the Quantumcloud software, game players will have the opportunity of powering their power cloud-based miners with little technical know how.
Coins that will be available for mining using the chips have not yet been named or identified. Also, the potential return on investment is not known.
One thing is however clear, minimal efforts will be required from the gamers to mine whatever coin. Also, no wallet services will be needed as Quantumcloud will automatically deposit each user’s profit into their provided payment methods ( a Paypal or Wechat account).
