TaTaTu, a new crypto related startup, in the entertainment niche has aligned forces with one of the biggest names in Hollywood to help further its cause. According to the platforms’ official website, The social entertainment platform—TaTaTu rewards users in tokens, as payment for interacting with certain content like movies and games
The report made it know that the A-List actor will be working alongside another prominent businessman, Iervolino.
Iervolino has been identified as an entrepreneur and movie producer.
Additionally, he operates AMBI Media Group with Monica Bacardi. Depp also previously founded a production company called Infinitum Nihil, which he will use to create movies and content for TaTaTu’s platform.
Work has Already Started
Based on a report, it was made known that, both Depp and Iervolino have already commenced work on the platform. The duo has made it known that they will be shooting a movie together later this month. The movie will be produced by Iervolino and his production company (AMBI). The title of the movie to be shot is “Waiting for the Barbarians”.The movie is based on a novel by author J.M. Coetzee.
In relation to working with Depp, Iervolino stated that:
“Johnny has the ability to conceptualize material in a way that few can, and is unburdened of conventional industry formulas that dictate the projects that get made, traditionally”.
Depp who has reportedly lost about $650 million of his wealth is expecting to rebound with this new deal. Apart from having a good comeback to the limelight with the series of movies that will be produced, Depp is also likely to gain massive wealth from the success of the project.
