Litecoin’s founder, Charlie Lee, has always had opinions about the cryptocurrency industry. Lee was active in the industry after founding Litecoin as Silver for Bitcoin Gold. After all, it was decided that his plans were for Litecoin. But even after selling his chips, he has committed to build Litecoin as a platform. Recently, during an interview, I have said that Monero has caught his attention among other currencies. During the interview with SFOX, Lee said he had a strong interest in developing Litecoin. He said that he could become literally vulnerable to the development of the Litecoin platform. That way, I would not have to worry about the price of LTC if I’m working on its development.
What Charlie Lee Thinks About Monero (XMR)
According to Lee, Monero is a solid project. He said he finds the platform interesting, largely because it’s based on the fact that many other platforms can not get better. In his words:
“Apart from Litecoin, I’m developing in Monero, I believe that fungibility and privacy are two things Monero offers, but Litecoin and Bitcoin are not, which is very necessary in a decentralized system.”
This is not the first time that Lee expresses interest in Monero. Some time ago, Moneros Ricardo Spagni joked about the collaboration between Monero and Litecoin. After reading the tweet, Lee said an association may be possible, jokes aside.
On many other occasions, Lee has created polls to help public opinion understand the features and developments they want to see in Litecoin. Most recommendations were developed by Monero.
The founder of Monero, Ricardo Spagni, belongs to the same social group Charlie Lee called Magical Crypto Friends. This shows that both developers can support each other. It is not yet known if it will materialize in a society or not. Everything we can do is wait and see.
