Litecoin (LTC)’s Charlie Lee recently revealed that HTC’s Exodus smartphone will be supporting LTC transactions as well as “the Lightning Network [LN] on Litecoin natively.”

The Litecoin founder posted on Twitter this morning that he had a lucrative discussion with HTC Exodus’ team last week regarding the mobile device’s crypto-related features, giving additional details explaining Litecoin’s further involvement:

“Met the HTC Exodus team last week and was really excited to hear the phone will support LTC and Lightning Network on Litecoin natively! I will be an advisor as I see having a secure crypto phone that makes LN simple is needed for mass adoption.

P.S. No, they will not remove BTC.”- said Charlie Lee in its twitter post.

“Meet @HTCExodus – The World’s First Native Blockchain Phone. Reserve yours now: https://www.htcexodus.com/#reserve-now  #LetMyDataGo cc @VitalikButerin @starkness @edithyeung” -Tweeted HTC Exodus.

In May, HTC made the announcement that it would be making available the first mobile phone to be powered by blockchain which will be “dedicated to decentralized applications and security.”

The Taiwanese electronics company has claimed that it already made more than 100 million smartphone devices which focus on reshaping the internet by “making decentralization a reality.” HTC intends on doing this via its new Exodus smartphone build on blockchain, which is planned to be launched at a later date this year.

The company also intends on providing support for Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), along with Litecoin (LTC), via its own blockchain network. As stated by the international electronics company, its Exodus smartphone will ease the trading of cryptocurrency between the users of such devices.

The developers behind Exodus also announced on July 10th that the company also plans on creating and launching a smartphone that already has integrated a cryptocurrency wallet and also the popular CryptoKitties game on these mobile devices.
