Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX) today revealed that it signed famous singer Jason Derulo, making it the latest celebrity to join GCOX’s list of stars.
GCOX is a blockchain-based platform that enables celebrities to make and issue their own Celebrity Tokens. Derulo is the third celebrity to be added by the renowned company after famous sporting names such as renowned football player Michael Owen and Philippines’s boxer and senator Manny Pacquiao partnered with GCOX.
In his musical career Derulo managed to sell over 30 million singles and reached Platinum ratings for eleven singles, counting “Wiggle”, “Talk Dirty”, “In My Head”, and “Whatcha Say”. His recent hit single “Colors” was used as the official anthem for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, making more than 40 million views on YouTube.
“How amazing would it have been if we had this when I was growing up so that I could have a little insight into the lives of artists I adored like Michael Jackson.”
“Not just on stage or during a show, but a little more insight into his personal life. And with this partnership, that is exactly what we will be offering,” said Derulo.
Evan Ngow, GCOX Chief Communications Officer (CCO), spoke of his enthusiasm regarding Derulo’s partnership with GCOX:
“As one of America’s most famous singers, Jason needs no introduction. We are committed to assembling a diverse, multi-talented array of stars at GCOX, and Jason will certainly not be the last musician to join our ranks. We are honoured to have Jason in our line-up, and we look forward to helping him build his popularity for the benefit of his vast global fanbase. At GCOX, we believe that popularity alone isn’t the endgame – it is what you do with it that matters.”
GCOX intends on being the first platform in this market segment that promotes this unique concept where celebrities can influence blockchain technology to increase its exposure. It enables the issuing, listing, and trading of celebrities’ own cryptocurrencies on its custom-made blockchain named Acclaim.
