TRON continues its series of exciting announcements as it recently tweeted about the launch of its new TronWallet for Android phones on the Google Play Store.
“TronWallet is now available on Android! Send, receive, freeze $TRX, vote for the Super Representatives, participate in token sales from your phone with this decentralized wallet built by Getty/IO! iOS version available soon, more info on @TronWalletMe,” the Tweet describes.
The company hinted at the fact that the wallet is designed to improve the overall experience with the platform, as users will be able to handle transactions faster and a lot easier. The wallet won’t just make transactions more seamless, but it will also allow users to vote during the time of Super Representative elections, as well as take part in TRON’s token sales.
Getty/IO involved in the development of the wallet
TRON’s wallet was developed in association with Getty/IO, one of the largest nearshore front-end development companies in South America. The company specializes in blockchain, JavaScript, and AWS solutions.
The founder and CEO of Getty/IO, Dio Lanakiara expressed her optimistic view regarding the new wallet: “With today’s release, TronWallet makes it easier for you and your friends to unleash the power of the TRON Network and its applications with a fully decentralized p2p wallet for iOS and Android. In the official announcement, the Tron Foundation has also made public a list of features that highlight the wallet’s capabilities, as follows:
